Ben Carson is a retired neurosurgeon and author from Detroit, Michigan. His claim to fame is that he was the first surgeon in the entire world that successfully separated conjoined twins joined at the head. After this astounding feat was accomplished he began to receive awards and spots on popular talk shows. He has recently jumped into the world of politics and is rumored to be the Republican candidate for the 2016 election.
