Joseph Goebbels was a politician from Germany who was the Reich Minister of Propaganda for the Nazi party. Because he worked closely with Adolf Hitler, the two became very close associates. When Nazi leadership began their “final solution” plan to exterminate all Jews, he was an avid supporter. He died on May 1, 1945, the day after Hitler committed suicide, by first killing his six young children and then committing suicide with his wife.
