Roberto Clemente was a pro baseball player from Puerto Rico. He played baseball for 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He hit his 3,000th hit in 1972, landing him a spot in the baseball hall of fame. He died in 1972 in a horrible plane crash.
