John Dillinger was an American bank robber and gangster. Dillinger grew up in Indianapolis and was very often in trouble with the law for petty theft. John was sentenced to six years in Indiana State Prison after a murder trial. While behind bars he embraced the criminal lifestyle ten fold. After being released he began robbing banks and went back to prison. While in prison he escaped and formed the “Dillinger Gang” and went on a bank robbery and murder spree.
